Homemade airy Burger Buns

Ingredients

  • 250 g Flour
  • ½ pk Fresh yeast or 12g
  • 1 ts Salt
  • 2 ts Sugar
  • 100 ml Water
  • 50 ml Milk
  • 2 pcs Egg of which 1 is for brushing the dough
  • 25 g Butter
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Put the butter to soften in room temperature
  • Add tempered water and milk together (it should be at your finger temperature so around 37°c)
  • Crumble the yeast into the water/milk mix and mix with a fork until dissolved. Cover up with plastic and let it rest for a few minutes
  • Add all the dry ingredients in the kitchen machine bowl
  • Add the water/milk/yeast and start mixing with the hook
  • Add 1 egg and keep mixing for a minute
  • Add the soft butter and mix for another 5 minutes at medium speed
  • Cover the bowl with plastic and let it rest for minimum 2 hours in room temperature
  • Cut the dough in 4 equal parts
  • Roll out each part in your hand and flatten them out when you place them on the tray covered with baking paper
  • Leave to rest for 1 hour
  • Put the oven to heat at 200°c (Hot air)
  • Mix 1 egg yolk with a little bit of water and brush it on to the buns delicately
  • Add sesame seeds on top
  • Cook in the oven for approx. 10 minutes
